AssalamuAlaikum everyone:
❇️ Alhamdulillah by the grace of Allah, Sunday (July 11) we witnessed the First of ZilHijjah 🕋
❇️ These are the best days of the entire year – where Allah SWT loves to be worshipped.
❇️ Among these days, the prime day of the entire year is the 9th – Day of Arafah, which begins on sundown of Sunday and ends at sundown Monday July 19th – where most people are forgiven and decreed to be among the people of Paradise.
❇️ Fasting on coming Monday is promised by Prophet of Allah to be an expiation of past and present year’s sins (Sahih Muslim).
❇️ Eid Takbeerat begin after Fajr on 9th DhulHijjah Monday (7/19) And Last until the Asr prayer of 13th of DhulHijjah.
❇️ Anyone intending to do Udhiyya-sacrifice- should not clip their nails or trim hair till sacrifice is done ✅
❇️ The time for sacrifice is from the Day of Eid, and two more days after. For local sacrifice, we will update the information on the website soon.

❇️ Eid Prayer and Khutbah – 10th of ZulHijjah, i.e. Tuesday July 20th
First prayer is at KiC (masjid) 7am Second one at the KIS – 9am
physical khutbahs for both prayers InshaAllah.
❇️ In the meantime, let us focus on our main goal of these few days
One must devote time, out of sincere love for Allah swt to do the following:
1️⃣ Improve in Daily 5 prayers with their volunteer sections (Sunan) and pray in congregation at 🕌 KIC
2️⃣ Volunteer prayers during the day (Sunnah, Nafal, Duha, Awwabeen, Tasbih) + Tahajjud
3️⃣ Zikr of morning and evening – and as much possible through out the day.
4️⃣ Fasting; especially focusing on the 9th day – Arafah
5️⃣ Special Remembrance of Allah – Takbeerat: 🕌
Starting after Fajr Prayer of 9th and lasting till the Asr on 13th of ZhulHijjah.
They are:
الله اكبر الله اكبر لا إله إلا الله والله اكبر الله اكبر ولله الحمد
AllahuAkbar AllahuAkbar La ilaha illAllahuWallahuAkbar AllahuAkbar wa LillahilHamd
6️⃣ Charity – Sadaqa
And taking care of one another.
7️⃣ avoid sins and practice higher morals of Islam ☪️
8️⃣ plan on doing sacrifice, remembering the passion of prophet Ibrahim عليه السلام
9️⃣ Avoid clipping nails and trimming hair, if you are doing the sacrifice.
