Based on the last board meeting, the board has decided the following:
-EID InshaAllah will be either Wednesday May 12 or Thursday May 13.
-Eid prayer will be offered in 3 time slots in an effort to reduce crowds.
-Times will start promptly
First time slot:
7:00 am at KIC (1520 W. Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo) —registration required due to limited space (Registration form will be available here soon)
Second time slot: No registration required
9:00 am at KIS (805 E. Osterhout, Portage)
Third time slot: No registration required
9:30 am at KIS (805 E. Osterhout, Portage)
-Eid prayer will be offered without khutba to reduce contact.
-Hafiz Nauman will be giving the Eid khutba virtually at 11:30 . Link will be posted later.
-As usual, all safety protocols will be enforced and if anyone is feeling ill or has been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid PLEASE do not come.
-As a reminder, zakat al-fitr needs to be paid before Eid prayer. CLICK HERE TO DONATE NOW.
