Mufti Azeemuddin Ahmed will be visiting us on March 1st and performing the Jumu’ah khutba at 1:20pm then will be hosting an evening Halaqa starting at Maghrib 6:30pm. Refreshments will also be served.
Mufti Azeemuddin Ahmed was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. At a very early age he memorized the Holy Qur’an. Mufti Azeemuddin then set out for South Africa to begin a rigorous eight-year alim and ifta course at Darul Uloom Zakariyya in Johannesburg, South Africa. There, he was blessed with the opportunity to study under one of the world’s elite jurists and scholars of hadith, Mufti Rada-ul-Haq, among many other notable scholars of Islam. Following his graduation with top honors from South Africa, Mufti Azeemuddin went on to earn his BA in Psychology from Elmhurst College. He served as the director of AIA Masjid in Frankfort, Illinois from 2006 to 2012.
Mufti Azeemuddin serves as the principal of DarusSalam Seminary and teaches introductory Arabic, intermediate Arabic grammar, intermediate and advanced Arabic literature, and introductory and intermediate conversational Arabic. Mufti Azeemuddin also serves as the associate Imam and Khateeb of Masjid DarusSalam
